The BCAC 20th Annual Opening Day Parade
April 18th, 2015

The 20th Annual Opening Day Parade for Baseball/Softball was held on Saturday, April 18th at 9:30 am.  Athletes from the BCAC Baseball, Softball and In-house leagues gathered for the annual parade to kick-off the season.  Festivities began at the 17th Road park where the marchers met with their teams and coaches and then proceeded to walk through Broad Channel to the BCAC Memorial Field.  Police officers from the 100th Precinct were the Grand Marshals of the parade and the Captain threw out a first pitch to start the season.  The day continued with bouncy rides, snacks and drinks and games for the kids and Father Richie blessed the field and players for a successful season.  Thanks to all who participated in this wonderful tradition!
