  • ​On Sunday, October 13th, the Shamrock's Senior Football Team took the field at MetLife Stadium vs. the Mustangs.
  • Congratulations to the Girls Intermediate  Softball Team on winning their second consecutive Championship!  Excellent way to end  their CYO career!​​

  • Congratulations to the Boys Swim Team who came in 2nd place on Saturday, January 6th at the Diocesan Championships!  Well done boys and coaches!  Please visit the Boys Swim Team  page for more pictures.
  • The 2018 Annual Easter Egg Hunt was held on Sunday, March 25th at 12 pm.  Due to the weather, we had to change the location to the 17th Road Park.  Please click here for details and photos.​
2017 Events​​
  • The Broad Channel Christmas Tree Lighting was held on Sunday, December 3rd at 5:30 pm.  We had a wonderful night as we turned on the lights for the season! 🎄​
  • The BCAC hosted another successful Mardi Gras season!  Visit our Mardi Gras page for details.​​
  • BCAC Shamrock Summer Shootout hosted a basketball show at the 17th Road Park on Thursday, August 3rd at 7 pm. The community came to watch Black Jack in action!

  • On Saturday, April 1st, the BCAC Girls Swim team tied for first place in the Division Championships!             


                             Congratulations girls and coaches

  • On Saturday, January 28th, the BCAC held its Annual Appreciation Dinner at the North Channel Yacht Club.  Councilman Eric Ulrich and former Assemblyman Phil Goldfeder were among the speakers.  Thank you to all for helping to make this club an important part of the Broad Channel Community.

  • The 4th grade boys Soccer Pee Wee Division took 2nd place at the Diocesan Championship game on Sun, Nov. 13th. Congratulations boys on a wonderful season!  ☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️​

  • The 21st Opening Day Festivities for baseball/softball was held on Saturday, April 16th, 2016.  Click here for more details.
  • The 2016 Annual Broad Channel Easter Egg Hunt was held on Saturday, March 26th, 2016.  The children were invited to collect eggs, enjoy treats and drinks and were visited by the Easter Bunny!
  • The BCAC hosted its annual Year End Party on Saturday, February 20th, 2016.  
2015 Events​
  • The BCAC's Annual Christmas Tree Lighting was held on Sunday, December 6th, 2015 at 5:30 pm.   Thank you to all who came  to kick off the season.  A big thanks to everybody who donated a toy to the holiday gift drive for the Hematology/Oncology department at Cohen's Medical Center and the Ronald McDonald House. 
  • 2015 Football Season:  Michael Strahan wishes Shamrocks  good luck for NSFL Super Bowl Game.  Video

  • March 28th, 2015 - The BCAC Girls Swimming team won the Division Championships on March 28th, 2015.  Great job girls and coaches!  
Previous Years
  • ​New Playground:  On August 17th, 2013, jetBlue and KaBOOM! joined with the Broad Channel community members to help build a new playground on the BCAC site after the neighborhood was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy in 2012.  That day, much of the facility was updated and given a new beginning.  ​
